Final Exam Review

Caveat:  Although I try to be comprehensive in these exam reviews, please understand that you are responsible for the material covered since the last exam.  If you notice something that I have missed, please do let me know

The final exam for this class will be Wednesday, December 17, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.  It will be a comprehensive two hour exam having the weight of two hour exams.

In your review for the final, please review homework, earlier exams, and the earlier exam review documents.  In addition, we have covered some material not yet covered on an hour exam (but which may appear in the final exam):

• Combinatorial proofs
• General definitions of graphs (including the varieties of graphs we have discussed)
• The handshaking theorem
• Incidence and adjacency matrices
• Trees, including definitions
• Binary search trees
• Traversal of binary search trees and expression trees
• Breadth-first and depth-first search. (assuming that we get to it Tuesday)
• There will probably be a small number of history questions.

The assignment list (Assignment list for Math 210) contains several review questions from the material since assignment #10.
