Final Exam:
- The final exam for this class will be Wednesday, Dec. 14, 4:00 - 6:00. It will be a
mandatory, two-hour, in class, comprehensive
exam. Current University regulations require that all students take the
final exam at this date and time.

Textbook:
- Stauss, Bradley, and Smith, Calculus (Third Edition). We will begin
with a review of the material from the first semester of calculus, and then
work through chapters 5, 6, 7, and 8 (sections 5.1 - 5.4 will be part of the
review).

Evaluation:
- Four hour exams
- A comprehensive, in-class final exam which will have the weight of two
hour exams.
- Homework will be assigned frequently, and homework assignments will be due
two regular class periods following the assignment (leaving a day before an
assignment is due to discuss any questions or problems). From each
homework set I will select several problems to grade. Questions on any
problems are, of course, welcome. The homework will have the
cumulative weight of one hour exam.
Notes:
- I will make every effort to return homework and exam papers a week or
earlier from the time they are turned in. That is, papers turned in on
a Wednesday should be returned no later than the following Wednesday.
