Lecture and exam schedule
Note: The following presents the lecture, reading and exam
schedule for Spring 2005. Please note that, except for scheduled University
events and exam dates, the schedule of topics, readings, and
assignments is tentative. It may be necessary to change an
exam date: if that happens, I will give you at least a week's notice
and make alternate arrangements for students unable to take the exam
on the rescheduled date. Please inform me of any conflict between the
dates entered here and those in the catalog and course schedule. In
the event of any conflicts, the catalog and course schedule have the
final say.
Exam Schedule:
- Hour Exam #1 will be Friday, February 18
- Hour Exam #2 will be Friday, March 25
- Hour Exam #3 will be Wednesday, April 27. Please note that this
is in the last full week of classes.
- The Final Exam for CSci 455 will be at 8:00 AM Monday, May 9. It
will be a mandatory, in-class final exam.
Group Project Schedule:
- Informal project proposals (email) due Friday, February 11
- Formal Project Proposal due Friday, February 25
- Requirements Document due Friday, March 11 (submissions earlier
that week cheerfully accepted).
- Friday, April 1: Preliminary design document due
- Friday, April 15: Design Document due
- Week of May 2: Formal Presentations
- Wednesday, May 4 (last day of class): all project materials
due. Documents should be bound (binding available through the print
shop).
