Exam 2 Review

The second hour exam will be on Friday, Nov. 7, and will cover chapters 7 - 12 (skipping chapter 9) . of the textbook. Lecture  slides are available on Plato.  Weekly slides will be available shortly (Week 4 - Week9).

The exam will be essay, short questions and diagrams. Be able to sketch a variety of system models (chapter 7), discuss software prototyping (what it is, how it may be used - chapter 8), architectural design (structure and control models, modular decomposition, distributed systems - chapters 10 - 11) and the basics of object-oriented design (chapter 12).
